ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Final-year students may also apply provisionally; however, they must produce proof of passing their graduation at the time of the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

Phase II: Main Examination

  • Comprises 5 sections, each carrying 40 marks

Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each section as determined by the bank.

Phase III: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who clear the Main Examination are required to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. This test is conducted in the official or local language of the respective state. Candidates who fail to demonstrate proficiency in the required language will not be considered for final selection.

  1. Marks from the Preliminary Exam are not included in the final merit list
  2. Only marks obtained in the Main Examination are considered
  3. Candidates must qualify the LPT to be eligible for final selection
  4. Selection is based on merit ranking within each category
